Sen. Eric P. Lesser and Rep. Josh S. Cutler will co-chair the fifth public meeting of the Future of Work Commission at Our Lady of Elms College in Chicopee on Tuesday, October 26th at 11 AM. The meeting will focus on wraparound services such as transportation, broadband support, and childcare. The event will feature presentations from Samantha Aigner-Treworgy, Commissioner at the Department of Early Education and Care; Dr. Tyra Good, Executive Director of the Center for Equity in Urban Education at
Elms College; Steven Poftak, General Manager at the MBTA; Frank Robinson, Baystate Health; Trevor Arp and Alicia Matthews, Comcast NBCUniversal; and Michael Baldino, Executive Director at the Massachusetts Broadband Institute.
Commission members and guest presenters will attend in person, and the meeting will be open to the public and press. The meeting will air locally and a livestream will be available at www.facebook.com/ChicopeeTV.
