A very nice ceremony today at the Pembroke Fire Station to dedicate the new dispatch center in memory of those who served to protect us on 9/11 and in the days since. The families of Pembroke’s fallen soldiers, Lt. Brian McPhillips, Pfc. Matthew Bean and Spc. Jesse Crudup were also in hand for us to honor their service and sacrifice. The ceremony included a steel beam from the World Trade Center which will be on display at fire station and then find a permanent home in Weymouth. Thanks to Fire Chief Hill, Police Chief Wall and all who help put together today’s event.
