I am pleased to share that Mass Cultural Council (MCC) has announced the recipients of the FY24 Festivals and Projects grants. 740 organizations across the Commonwealth will be receiving grants of $2,500 to support their public activities that incorporate the arts, humanities, or sciences. These grants are possible as a result of budgets we have passed.
Congratulations to the Alden Kindred of America, Inc. in the town of Duxbury for hosting Liberty Pole Day & to the Pembroke Arts Festival, Inc. for hosting the 56th Annual Pembroke Arts Festival and receiving grants of $2,500 to support these projects and festivals.
Please see linked here a full funding list with descriptions for the 740 projects and a press release describing the program.
Also, MCC is launching the FY24 STARS Residencies program. STARS Residencies support residencies that bring students and teachers together with practicing artists, scientists, and humanists to create rich cultural experiences. Any Massachusetts school serving grades K-12, independent teaching artists/scientists/humanists, and non-profit organizations may apply. To learn more about the program, see the MCC website linked here. Applications are due by October 24th.
